Whitesburg to Hazard, get on the Hal Rogers parkway and it will take you right there.

the best road is to go through cumberland gap. it will take the same amount of time from norton weather you go through cumberland gap or go the hazard way. your looking at 2h 15 to 20 min either way. So its your choice.

Re: best way to get to London, KY fron Norton?

I stay at an apartment in Lexington because I student teach at Paris High in Paris KY. I've been at student at Berea College since Fall 06.

I have tried about every way to get there.

Do NOT go through Hazard. I have tried it and it's the worst road ever. It winds a lot and lanes end a lot combined with the fact that Kentuckians have pretty much the worst drivers in the US. Going through Hazard is a mistake because that route is a Hazard.

    Harlan is not any better.

If I were to suggest, go through Lee County, Middlesboro, Barbourville, and get on I75N in Corbin.

Take this from someone who is in Central Kentucky: Middlesboro is the best way. It may not necessarily be the quickest but it's the better road. Harlan actually takes longer and Hazard maybe about the same but because of how the road in Hazard is, sometimes you can add 30 minuites to an hour to your trip.
